“On 1st July 2009 the Director and Managing Director of Suprabha Protective Products Pvt Ltd, Pune, recipients of the WORLDSTAR 2008 Award were honoured at a convention in Mexico City held at the Hotel Nikko. Mrs. Sumalata Bantwal and Mr. P.R. Bantwal accepted the WorldStar 2008 from the World Packaging Organisation, Sweden from the hands of WPO President Mr. Keith Pearson under the entry of 'Suprabha Seaworthy Packaging System for Open Deck Transportation'.

Already a recipient of the INDIASTAR 2008 award from the Indian Institute of Packaging, the Suprabha Seaworthy Packaging System is both, technically superior as well as the most cost effective. It is a breakthrough in the Export Packaging of engineering goods, which has significantly helped to save millions of rupees, thus contributing to our export economy.

'Suprabha Seaworthy Packaging System for Open Deck Transportation' was voted the best VCI Packaging System out of a total of 134 entries from 30 countries. Suprabha has also achieved a hatrick by winning 3 consecutive awards of 2004, 2006 and 2008 from Indian Institute of Packaging.
